Falcons hire former Vikings head coach Mike Tice

The Atlanta Falcons have filled the open offensive line coaching position with former Vikings head coach Mike Tice. Tice did not coach in 2013, but spent the prior three seasons with the Chicago Bears serving as the offensive line coach before being promoted to coordinator in 2012.

The Falcons will go into the 2014 season looking for more toughness in the trenches as directed by owner Arthur Blank. Tice is highly regarded among NFL circles as a hard-nosed, no non-sense coach, that will get the Falcons where they want to go.
