It was one of those seasons that Green Bay Packers fans will not forget anytime soon. Plenty of drama, plenty of injuries, but still plenty to be hopeful for. Just ask quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who on Tuesday had some interesting comments during his weekly radio on ESPN Wisconsin.
“This window has a chance to open up and be really bright for four, five years,” Rodgers mentioned.
When you have a young stable of talented pass catchers and Eddie Lacy in the backfield, it makes it far easier to be confident after winning just eight games. Despite the low win total, Rodgers spoke of the immense pride he has for the team’s effort and heart in 2013. However, #12 is just getting “re-started” and is already looking forward to getting back onto the practice field.
“My contract is for six more years and I expect to be playing well all six.”
