Former Texans running back tweets football warning to parents


Former NFL running back Derrick Ward took to Twitter today, talking to parents of future NFL hopefuls. Ward pleaded with parents to “not allow your kids to grow up to play NFL football.”

It’s an interesting perspective, one that most of us could only dream of having, but never will.

Ward a former New York Giant and Houston Texan, played eight seasons in the NFL, winning a Super Bowl with the Giants.
