Miami Dolphins' biggest surprise of the 2013 season

2013 has come and gone and as all of you know this past season ended in complete and utter disappointment.

That being said now that the season is over we can look back and find a couple of positive takeaways.

The obvious breakthrough/ “surprise of the season” was the emergence of Charles Clay who basically went from a situation average player into a legit weapon for the Dolphins offense.

That being said we are not going to go with the obvious breakthrough of Charles Clay but rather the other obvious contender number 21, the man they call “BAE”.

Brent “Bae” Grimes now a pro bowler who signed a one year deal in Miami simply balled out this season.

Grimes had a team leading 4 INTs along with 16 passes defensed. Despite Grimes’s 5’10 figure he was able to be physical all season long displaying his skills as one of the top ten corners in the league.

Highlight of Brent’s year was a 94 yards pick six against Cincy. Grimes allowed a scary good 66.3 passer rating when opposing QB’s threw towards him.

Dolphins fans all around are hoping to see Brent Grimes back in aqua and orange in 2014.
