Bengals’ linebacker, Vontaze Burfict, was chosen as the middle linebacker on the Pro Football Writers Association’s All-AFC list. Burfict was, without question, Cincinnati ‘s most impactful player in 2013.

The 23-year-old tallied, a league-leading 171 tackles. He made offenses fearful whenever they faced the Bengals. Burfict is the heart and soul of Cincinnati’s defense, and is arguably the best linebacker in the NFL. He lead a defense that ranked third in total yards, fifth in passing, fifth in rushing and fifth in total points.

Being selected to the All Pro roster so early in his young career, illustrates the type of player Burfict could turn out to be. He is on course to maybe become the most dominant defensive force in all of football.
