Arizona Cardinals defensive coordinator Todd Bowles has been a hot name on the head coaching market this offseason. But, with only two jobs left (Cleveland and Minnesota), options are running out of where he could go. In fact, on Tuesday afternoon, Bowles narrowed the possibilities even further.
Cardinals DC Todd Bowles has told the Browns to withdraw his name from their list of HC candidates, source tells @FOXSports1.

Who could blame him for pulling out of the Browns job? After all the franchise only gave former head coach Rob Chudzinski one year before canning him last month. With Cleveland out of the running that leaves the Vikings as the only other place Bowles could go, which apparently still is an option.
Todd Bowles is still waiting to see if he’ll get second interview with the #Vikings. They haven’t told him he’s out, John Wooten said.

The favorite, though, for the Minnesota job is current Bengals defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer. It’s hards to imagine Bowles making a lateral move to another coordinator position, so unless something falls through with Zimmer and the Vikings, Cardinals fans can exhale as Bowles will likely be back in the desert next season.
The Cardinals roster review continues, this time at the tight end position.
