Andy Reid wins AFC coach of the year from Committee of 101

He might win coach of the year from the NFL before it’s all said and done, but Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid earned one piece of coaching hardware on Wednesday.

The Committee of 101 consists of 101 sportswriters who broadcast and cover the NFL. The group selected Ron Rivera as the top coach from the NFC.

Coming over from the Philadelphia Eagles, Reid took the Chiefs from a putrid 2-14 a year ago to an 11-5 record and a playoff berth in his first year in Kansas City.

That is just ridiculous. My grandmother could have coached this year’s Chiefs team to an 11-5 record based on the team and the schedule. Andy Reid is very overrated and will not be able to get the Chiefs to the Super Bowl!

Your grandmother was too busy at my house to be coaching the Chiefs.
