Breaking: Dolphins hire Bill Lazor as their OC

Boom goes the dynamite!

The Dolphins have hired Eagles QB coach Bill Lazor as their offensive QB.

It had been reported yesterday that Lazor was hired by the Lions however today Chris Mortensen reported that it is the Dolphins who in fact have hired the up and coming QB coach.

Just when it seemed the Dolphins were about to enter desperation with their OC search candidates the shocking news of the Lazor hiring comes out.

Lazor is known for the development of young QB Nick Foles who had a career year thanks to Lazors help and has flourished into a really nice QB for Philadelphia. Lazor does have some OC experience as he ran the Virginia University in that role in 2012.

Lazor was also offensive coordinator for the University of Buffalo before joining the Eagles.

Lazor has experience calling plays and developing a young QB which is exactly what Miami needs with the team hoping Ryan Tannehill will take the next step this upcoming season.

The news of the Bill Lazor hiring from twitter has been mixed however his work with Foles has definitely left an impression.
Lazor comes from West Coast offense mindset, which is what Coach Joe Philbin wants to continue to run in Miami
