Teryl Austin moves on to join Caldwell, Lions

Jim Caldwell isn’t the only member of the Ravens coaching staff to depart for Detroit. As expected, secondary backs coach Teryl Austin will become the defensive coordinator for the Lions.

Austin had spent three seasons with Baltimore at said position and had done a remarkable job using young talent with seasoned veterans to boast a top 10 unit. Austin has worked with Jim Caldwell before when Caldwell was the head coach at Wake Forest for the generous part of the 90’s.
