The guys over at ESPN Stats & Info are always digging up really interesting facts, but this one makes you do a double take.
49ers have allowed five 100-yard rushing games since the start of 2010… Three of those belong to Marshawn Lynch

That’s 70-plus games, meaning San Francisco gives up 100 yards on the ground only about seven percent of the time, yet Lynch has done it in about half their meetings.
It is important to note the Niners are 2-1 in those games, although they did give up 98 yards to Lynch in their embarrassing 29-3 loss back in Week 2. With many pundits predicting a low scoring game, ball control could be key. The quicker the 49ers can shut down Lynch and get their defense off the field, the better.
One writer ripped the 49ers just three days before the NFC Championship Game.
