Falcons receiver Roddy White calls Seahawks front runners

This Sunday the Seattle Seahawks will host the San Francisco 49ers at CenturyLink Field in the NFC Championship game. Meanwhile, Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Roddy White will be watching from his couch.

You can’t blame him for being bored. His Falcons finished the 2013 season with a record of 4-12, tied for last in the NFC South division. With no football on his schedule for many months to come, White is going out of his way to get some attention by tralking trash about the Seahawks again.

Earlier this week White told Dave Dameshek that Richard Sherman and the Seahawks are front runners:

When they’re winning and everything’s going good, they jump around. They yell and scream. But when they’re not winning, then there’s not too much of that going on.

Richard Sherman and White have a longstanding feud, stemming from the fact that Sherman has been able to shut White down almost every time they have played against each other. Earlier this year in preparation for the Seahawks/Falcons game a reporter asked Sherman if he was looking forward to the challenge of covering White. Sherman replied: “what challenge?”

Seattle crushed Atlanta in the game that followed, 33-10. White had just one catch for 20 yards.

Whatever you do, don’t call Percy Harvin soft.
