Jags have a decision to make with Blackmon in offseason

The Jacksonville Jaguars had a terribly disappointing season, though they did show some signs of growth under first-year head coach Gus Bradley. Finishing the second half of the season with a 4-4 record after losing their first eight, should give fans something to be hopeful for next season.

That said, there’s one Jaguar that gives fans headaches and is the most disappointing Jaguar this season. His name, Justin Blackmon. Blackmon had two stints on the NFL suspension list, the latter will cost him an entire year out of the NFL. What is Jacksonville to do with him next season?

Blackmon appeared in only four games in 2013, catching 29 passes for 415 yards and a touchdown. Is that kind of production worth the trouble that comes with him? That is a question best left for the Jaguars organization to decide, but there’s no question that the Jaguars could have used him in the final eight games of the season.

Where do the Jaguars go next season? Only time will tell, but Blackmon was a terrible disappointment this season for Jacksonville.
