Kyle Long named to Pro Bowl

Kyle Long will now join Tim Jennings, Brandon Marshall, Matt Forte and Alshon Jeffery in the Pro Bowl. Long replaces San Francisco 49ers guard Mike Iupati who can not participate due to injury.

Long is the first offensive lineman to make the Pro Bowl for the Bears since 2006 when the team sent G Ruben Brown and C Olin Kreutz. He’s the first rookie to make it for Chicago since Johnny Knox was selected after the 2009 season.

Long was the 20th overall pick in the 2013 draft. The four offensive Pro Bowl selections are the most for the franchise since their 1985 Super Bowl Championship season.
