Bucs at bottom of the “Way too early” 2014 power rankings?


Only one game and two teams remain. For everyone else, the calendar (both in real terms and in the football world) has turned to 2014. Next season is now this season for 30 NFL franchises.

Thus, it’s time to start assessing where everyone stacks up heading into next year. Who will bounce back? Who will fall off? Who has made good hires? And who has made bad fires?

The regular season ended just three weeks ago, but the shape of the NFL landscape has already changed. Here’s how the cover32 editors see it shaping up as 2014 dawns:

30. Tampa Bay Buccaneers – The Bucs finished in last place again, and decided to clean house on Black Monday. General manager Mark Dominik and head coach Greg Schiano are both new to the unemployment line. Lovie Smith takes over a team with a good defense, but plenty of questions on offense.
