Brandon Jacobs puts 49ers coach Harbaugh on blast

Remember when Brandon Jacobs played for the 49ers?

It’s understandable if you don’t. The bruising back is remembered more for his eight seasons as a member of the New York Giants, with whom he won two Super Bowl titles.┬áJacobs, who announced his retirement earlier this month, played just one season with the 49ers in 2012.

Apparently it left an impression on him.

In an interview with New York’s WFAN-AM, Jacobs put 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh on blast Thursday, saying, “He is a b—- and that’s why he hasn’t won anything.”

Clearly Jacobs meant Super bowls. The 49ers have reached the NFC Championship game three times in as many seasons under Harbaugh and have one Super Bowl appearance, a 34-31 loss to the Ravens a year ago.
