There’s a good chance Denver Broncos tight end Julius Thomas went undrafted in your fantasy football league back in August. Now, he’s one of the best tight ends in the league — contributing immensely to an offense that set all kinds of NFL records.

Thomas had just one career reception coming into the 2013 season — and the former basketball star had an injury riddled first two years in the NFL. He exploded on to the scene this season, catching 65 passes and an uber impressive 12 touchdowns.

A year ago, could he have envisioned this? I asked him that and more at the Broncos final media session on Thursday morning.

It’s always the grocery store guys say they get recognized at. Always.
