MJD: Still not contract talks with Jaguars

It’s not a news flash, but Maurice Jones-Drew said that he has had no contract talks with the Jaguars this off-season.

It was widely reported as the regular season came to a close that the Jaguars were willing to, or more aptly, going to allow MJD to test free-agency. It seems as if nothing has changed.

Jones-Drew was asked recently if there was a chance he would return to the Jaguars? His answer was very non-committal.

Jones-Drew has been a wonderful back for the Jaguars, but coming off injuries and climbing in running back years, this is a move that many believe is in the best interest of not only the Jaguars, but MJD as well.
