Friday morning, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell met with the media in his annual pre-Super Bowl press conference. With plenty of players and owners in the audience, Goodell spoke for about 35 minutes at the Rose Theater in New York City. San Francisco 49ers tight end Vernon Davis was actually one of those players and managed to ask the commissioner a question about health care afforded to retired players. After the presser, Davis had a chance to speak with the media about player safety for a bit. Here is some of what he had to say:
