Matt Hasslebeck was signed by the Indianapolis Colts during last years free agency. He was signed to come in and bring leadership to the team, and help mentor quarterback Andrew Luck.
While Hasslebeck is only owed 2,25 million dollars for this upcoming season, and will most certainly be back at that bargain rate, the Colts need to come to the realization that at 38 it will be his last season in the league.
According to Fox Sports he was quoted saying” I’d like to do one more year and call it a career.”
With that in mind the Colts might want to look into bringing another veteran behind Luck to help continue his development.
