How do cover32’s top ten running back prospects fit in Kansas City?

Our editorial staff put together its list for the top ten running backs in this year’s NFL Draft.

Kansas City’s starting spot is surely secured with Sir Charles. He has nothing to worry about as he is still the focal point of the Chiefs offense.

Behind him might be a different story. Knile Davis fractured his fibula in the playoff loss to Indianapolis and he may miss a majority of offseason programs. That may put the Chiefs into a position to get some depth, as I don’t really see Cyrus Gray being a legitimate backup.

I couldn’t see the Chiefs spending a pick in the first two rounds on a running back, so keep that in mind when you look at these backs. Some round projections can be found here.
