Mike McCarthy has promised that this off-season will bring changes to the Green Bay Packers. Not overly surprising. But a change in Ted Thompson’s policies regarding free agent spending? Now that is truly unbelievable. Long-time Packer fans may have a hard time believing it, but Ian Rapoport of NFL.com reports that tightwad Ted will be looking to spend big this year in free agency. Rapoport believes that the team will look to address their defensive inefficiencies by spending some of their nearly 30 million dollars in cap space in the free agent market. I officially revoke my plea to over zealous Packer fans, as I am now currently drafting my wish list for defensive free agents. Stay tuned.
