Atlanta holds free agent wide receiver options

Atlanta has two of the best playmakers at wide receiver in the NFL. Julio Jones and Roddy White are a dynamic duo, but do not tell that to Harry Douglas, whom accumulated over 1,000 yards for the first time in his career last season. Now Douglas holds leverage over the front office. Douglas has shown he can play outside the slot and be a solid No.2, if not become “The Guy” in some offensive schemes. Atlanta needs to be smart this off-season, nothing is guaranteed in the NFL, and Douglas could absolutely walk in the future. It could be more important now than ever to secure the receiving core. He is under contract until 2016, but is grossly underpaid. Atlanta did not have adequate depth last season on the perimeter, which led to many offensive struggles. Below are some names that could prove intriguing over the next month. Click Here for the cover32 column on “Top 10 Free Agent Wide Receivers”. Are there any names that interest you? Or, do you believe Atlanta should move forward with the players already on the roster?
