Top Wide Receivers In NFL Draft: Who Can Help Carolina?


Steve Smith is the greatest receiver in Carolina Panthers history, but he’ll be 35 by the start of next season. Former second round pick Brandon LaFell is set to be a free agent and has been a massive disappointment. Former Dolphins bust Ted Ginn Jr. emerged last year but will also be a free agent.

What does this all mean?

The Panthers are going to be in the market for wide receivers this offseason. Given the cap concerns¬†surrounding the team, perhaps the best option for Carolina will be to take one or two guys in the upcoming NFL Draft. Luckily, it’s a deep draft of receivers.
