Jason Taylor says Dion Jordan "could be a lot better than I ever was"

For those who missed it this morning Jason Taylor did a fairly open interview on the Joe Rose show with a couple of pretty bold statements.

Some of the biggest one liners included Taylor telling @560WQAM he wouldn’t object to a role in the Dolphins organization, and endorsed Dan Marino. The idea of getting Taylor and Marino involved in the Fins organization is one that many Dolphins fans have been clamoring for.

“I haven’t changed my phone number for a while, but I’m around. I’m available. I’ve talked to Steve Ross and Jorge Perez a little bit,” JT (via Omar Kelly)

Taylor also spoke VERY highly of Dion Jordan who he said could be a lot better than I ever was. Taylor clearly must believe Jordan was underutilized and one has to wonder if this coaching staff can get that kind of production out of Jordan that many believe he is capable of having.

Jason also touched upon the Dolphins locker-room situation.

“It is a different culture, and differently world and it is policed differently. But you have to have strong leadership,” Jason Taylor said “You just wish you can say enough is enough. There has been times in my career I’ve seen players say, ‘that’s enough,'” Jason Taylor said.
