Antrel Rolle asks fans to pray for former Giants safety JoJo Nicolas

Former New York Giants defensive back JoJo Nicolas was involved in a terrible two-car crash in Miami Beach on Tuesday. He was hospitalized with “severe injuries,” according to the Miami Herald.

Having heard the news, Nicolas’ former teammate and current Giants safety Antrel Rolle took to Twitter and Instagram to ask people to pray for the former Miami Hurricane.

Nicolas signed with the Giants as an undrafted free agent following the 2012 NFL Draft. The former collegiate star was unable to beat out strong competition and was eventually cut that August.

The 24-year-old had tweeted Monday night that he was getting ready to go out and celebrate his 25th birthday with a friend at Mansion Nightclub in Miami Beach.

The friend appears to be okay, as he shared this tweet Tuesday morning:

There have been no updates on Nicolas’ condition since about 12 p.m. ET from all major outlets. We will do our best to keep you updated as more news comes out.
