Saints' needs singular at tight end: sign Jimmy Graham

Over the past couple weeks we’ve made a big deal about the contract negotiations between Jimmy Graham and the New Orleans Saints, and rightfully so.

It’s hard to think of any team in the NFL that has a more important offseason task then that of the Saints re-signing Graham. What Graham means to the Saints offense cannot be understated, and when healthy he becomes one of the most dangerous weapons in the game (let alone the best tight end).

With that said, their one and only need at tight end this offseason is to come to some sort of agreement with Graham that keeps him in black and gold. Anything past that – including potentially drafting another weapon at tight end or bolstering the position through free agency – is a mere raindrop in the ocean of offseason decisions the Saints will make.
