Denver Broncos’ Derek Wolfe gives first interview since bizarre hospitalization

Denver Broncos defensive end Derek Wolfe suffered a seizure on the team bus headed to the airport for a game in Kansas City back in November and didn’t play the rest of the season. He didn’t talk with the media either — and speculation ran rampant about what was actually wrong with Wolfe.

Today, more than three weeks after the Super Bowl, and nearly three months after the incident, we might finally have some answers.

The “injury in Seattle” occurred during the preseason when Wolfe took a nasty blow to the head and was taken off the field on a stretcher. We’ll hopefully have video and an update after Lombardi’s report airs tonight.

UPDATE (10:45 a.m.) – Here’s the interview that aired on CBS4
