Boldin posted a message on his foundation page that read:
Looking forward to joining my teammates, coaching staff and fans to bring back another championship to the Bay Area.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport tweeted the details of the deal shortly after Boldin announced the news.

The veteran led the team in receiving yards and catches a season ago with 1,179 and 85, respectively. He also caught seven touchdowns.
