Greg Hardy and Jimmy Graham won’t hit Free Agency

As expected, both players have been franchised tagged this afternoon an will not hit the open market.

Greg Hardy was assigned the non-exclusive tag Monday afternoon, which dictates he can receive offers from other teams but they would have to deal two first round picks to the Panthers in order to secure his contract.

Jimmy Graham was tagged as a Tight End for $7.035 million by the Saints. His contract is $5.3 million less than the receiver designation he was hoping to be tagged with. Graham is appealing, however he most likely will have to settle with the way things are.
