Time for Dolphins fans to say bye to Paul Soliai?

According to David Canter, Paul Soliai is on his way out.

This morning Canter was asked if there was any good news coming out about Soliai. He responded with “Hell yes great news. Free agency starts this weekend”. That basically wraps up Soliai’s career with the Fins.

He added that after multiple meetings and discussions the Dolphins did not offer him a contract and will not use the Franchise tag on him.

Soliai spent seven years with the Dolphins, it seems like the right time to move on. Soliai is looking for his final big contract in the NFL, something the Dolphins aren’t willing to offer. The Dolphins have a lot of holes, and while DT may be one, it wouldn’t be hard to find a replacement in F/A or through the draft (possibly Linval Joseph or Louis Nix in the draft)
