Reaction: Ropati Pitoitua makes free agency decision

The Tennessee Titans made their second move of the offseason Friday, re-signing defensive run stopper Ropati Pitoitua to a multi-year deal.

A year after what some might see as overspending in free agency, the Titans are making the calm, collected decisions by bringing back veteran Bernard Pollard and fifth-year pro Pitoitua, who is coming off a career year.

After bouncing around a bit in three previous seasons, Pitoitua will be a solid addition to the hybrid defensive front of new coordinator Ray Horton.

At 6’8″, 298-pounds, Pitoitua should thrive as a run-stopping end.
