Baltimore Ravens more than likely to need new blood at tackle position in 2014

As we have discussed, being on the offensive line doesn’t provide much glamour. However, the offensive tackle position is probably the most discussed position on the line, albeit still not all that much. Regardless, the importance of a solid O-line can’t be overstated. In particular, having a tackle that can slow down these speedy pass-rushers that NFL teams breed now-a-days might be one of the most important pieces of all.

The Baltimore Ravens are in talks with both of their tackles right now. Decisions are still up in the air as to whether Eugene Monroe or Michael Oher will return to the Ravens. Odds are both will not meaning a space will be open. Best way to fill that void? Another free-agent? Maybe. Although the best value may come with one of THESE soon-to-be rookies.
