In 2013, the Carolina Panthers had quite the imbalance of offensive tackles. On the left side, stalwart Jordan Gross earned a Pro Bowl berth for his performance throughout the season. At right tackle, Byron Bell was among the league’s worst offensive line starters. With Gross now retired, many would contend that offensive tackle is the biggest deficiency on the Carolina roster this offseason. Maybe the best opportunity to get a high level starter within the constraints of the Panthers’ cap situation will be with the NFL draft.
