Bears add to their busy day

When free agency began, the Bears inked a five-year, $35 million deal with former Oakland Raiders defensive lineman Lamarr Houston.

They also added safety Ryan Mundy who last played with the New York Giants. Mundy started 10 games last season and 15 overall in his career in New York and with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Veteran middle linebacker D.J. Williams was re-signed to a one-year deal. He missed most of last season with a pectoral injury. The Bears also brought in special teams player and backup linebacker Jordan Senn. He is a six-year veteran with the Colts and Panthers.
