NFL Free agent primer: The 10 best at each position

Today, the Chargers and Tom Telesco can begin the pursuit of finding those final pieces to the puzzle in San Diego. The Bolts had an incredible run in 2013, but are still a few defensive players away from being a real championship contender. Last year, Telesco could have easily been named executive of the year with his first draft and free agent class. Danny Woodhead, King Dunlap and Chad Rinehart were some excellent value deals for the Chargers and I expect Telesco to surprise us again. Derek Cox was a bust, and the jury is still out with Dwight Freeney, but I expect the young GM to make big moves starting today. The Chargers have to address cornerback, nose tackle, and wide receiver, and if they are able, could always use another pass rusher. With that being said, here is a breakdown of the best free agents on the market.
