Welcome back Fili Moala; Colts resign defensive end

The Indianapolis Colts have re-signed defensive end Fili Moala.

The veteran played in all 16 games last season, and totaled 26 tackles and 1.5 sacks. He has 45 career starts with the Colts since joining being drafted by the team in the second round in 2009.

Moala has yet to live up to his expectations of being a second round pick, but has thrived under the 3-4 scheme with the Colts. He may not be the flashiest of signing for the Colts, but he is a solid locker room presence and will provide depth for the team that struggled to stop the run last season.
