Free agency roundup Day 2: Tennessee Titans release vet, add depth

On Day 2 of open season in the NFL, the Tennessee Titans continued their stead trek through free agency.

  • Tennessee inked Al Woods to a two-year deal worth $5 million.

Grade: A

The Titans got a solid nose tackle who can disrupt the middle for a bargain price. Great move.

  • Anthony Dixon appears to have left the Titans facility without a deal.

Great news. Tennessee has two bigger backs in Jackie Battle and Shonn Greene already. They don’t need another one.

Things to come

  • If he leaves the Raiders facility, LaMarr Woodley is expected to visit the Titans.
  • Pro Bowl defensive lineman Jason Hatcher is still expected to take a trip to Tennessee for a free agency visit.
