Latest New York Giants news on Jon Beason, Justin Tuck and Terrell Thomas


Jon Beason has re-signed with the New York Giants today, first reported by’s reporter Aditi Kinkhabwala.

The 29-year-old Beason was one of the few highlights last year for a Giants team that struggled on both offense and defense.  As middle linebacker for the Giants, Beason had 93 tackles and a pick in just 12 games.

Also, ESPN’s Adam Schefter is reporting DE Justin Tuck and CB Terrell Thomas are visiting the Oakland Raiders today.

Thomas had been plagued by injury through the 2011 and 2012 seasons but played in every game last year while recording 58 tackles.

Tuck played as a solid defensive end last year while Jason Pierre-Paul was dealing with back issues.  The 30-year-old free agent recorded 11 sacks, 41 tackles and two forced fumbles for the Giants.
