Arizona Cardinals sign Ginn on Day 3 of Free Agency

Day three of free agency is in the books; here’s your nightly update on the Arizona Cardinals:

-The Cardinals signed Ted Ginn away from the Panthers, according to the team’s website. Ginn is going to be the team’s third receiver and return some kicks. His speed is going to be an asset it’s interesting to see how Ginn will be utilized in 2014. And 2015. And 2016. Ginn signed a three-year deal with Arizona and the deal is reportedly worth $3.25 million a season.

Ginn would likely take over the role that Javier Arenas played last season. Arenas had his struggles returning kickoffs and hopefully Ginn will be a vast improvement.

– Arizona officially cut linebacker Dontay Moch and Moch provided good depth at the position.

– Antonio Cromartie visited the team’s facility today. Could he possibly sign with Arizona and form a dynamic set of corners with Patrick Peterson? Stay tuned. this could get very interesting over the next couple days. Other teams are going to be interested but the fact Cromartie visited Arizona first could say something.
