Bears continue to make moves in day three of free agency

The Bears have agreed to terms with wide receiver Domenik Hixon and defensive end Willie Young.

Hixon come by way of the Carolina Panthers on a one-year contract. He had 567 receiving yards and two touchdowns in 2012. He will add depth to the receiving core as well as play on special teams. Hixon has a history of returning kicks and will likely battle for Devin Hester’s old spot.

Young was signed to a three-year $9 million deal with a $2 million signing bonus. Young had six sacks last season for the Lions in 15 starts. He has eight total in his career. Young was one of the league leaders in quarterback pressures last season with 60 according to Pro Football Focus.
