Bears stay busy during free agency


Day one of free agency is nearly in the books; here’s your afternoon update on the Chicago Bears:


– The Bears signed former Detroit Lions defensive end Willie Young two a three-year deal and agreed to terms with former Panthers wide receiver Domenik Hixon for one year.


– Charles Tillman left Tampa Bay without a contract after all signs showed to him being reunited with former coach Lovie Smith.


– Henry Melton visited the Minnesota Vikings and according to numerous sources, he has a few undisclosed visits. The Bears are allowing him to test free agency but have not closed the door on his return.
