New York Giants free agency recap: G-Men lose a legend on Day 3

Day three of free agency is nearly in the books; here’s your evening update on the New York Giants:

– The Giants re-signed fullback Henry Hynoski for a one-year deal. Expect him to compete in training camp with Jon Conner for the starting job.

– In heartbreaking news for many, longtime Giants defensive end and captain Justin Tuck signed a two-year deal with the Oakland Raiders.

– Giants target Ted Ginn Jr. chose to sign with the Arizona Cardinals before the G-Men got the chance to court him for his services.

– Another target, cornerback Tracy Porter, is also reportedly set to sign with the Washington Redskins, the Giants’ division rival.

– Some Hakeem Nicks news:

No reports of any kind of conversation between Nicks and the Giants. I think it’s fair to assume that ship has sailed.
