BREAKING NEWS: Herring Says No; Peppers Getting Some Attention

Will Herring decided not to sign his one-year tender from the Dallas Cowboys.  Herring gave no reason on the sudden change of heart.  Herring played for the New Orleans Saints last season as a special teams captain and reserve OLB.

With the signing of Hatcher to the Washington Redskins and DeMarcus Ware to the Denver Broncos, Dallas is trying to get some talent back to the defensive line.  Julius Peppers from the Chicago Bears is on the target of players being looked at.

Henry Melton is scheduled to make a visit after he went to the Pacific Northwest area to visit the Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks.  Melton is a native Texan so playing back in his home state is a bonus for Melton.  Melton played high school at Grapevine High School then he played college football at Texas University getting 29 tackles in his senior season.

Peppers is turning 34-years old and is entering his 13th NFL season.  He has had some issues with injuries in 2012 mainly with plantar fasciitis.  He has 556 tackles in career that has seen him miss only 6 games during his time in the National Football League.

Keep up with as we keep up with the Dallas Cowboys as they try to resurrect a defense that fell to 32nd in the NFL and an 8-8 record.
