The Houston Texans finally made a splash in free agency, and by that it meant bringing back a key player on offense, tight end Garrett Graham.
As reported by John McClain of the Houston Chronicle, the contract is three years worth $11.25 million, $4.5 million of it is guaranteed.
In three seasons with the Texans, Graham has 78 catches for 832 yards and eight touchdowns. With the release of Owen Daniels, and a very thin market of quality tight ends in this year’s free agency pool, bringing back Graham was a smart, affordable move by the Texans in free agency.
Will the Texans decide to make another big move in free agency before the draft? That remains to be seen.
But bringing back Graham is a great way to start spending money.
