Packers look to a division rival yet again for another free agent addition


Ted Thompson has made another splash, and again it’s a defensive piece, and again it’s a player that last year was playing within the NFC North. Green Bay has signed defensive tackle Letroy Guion to a three year deal.

Guion is a former fifth round draft pick of the Minnesota Vikings in 2008 (152nd pick overall) and started all 28 games that he played in over the past two seasons. At 6’4″ and 315 lbs Guion is another big, athletic body that will bolster the defensive front and in theory add to the pass rush that has been missing from Dom Capers’ defense over the past few seasons.
