Which Top 10 defensive end can help the Arizona Cardinals?

The defensive end position is a strength for the Arizona Cardinals. Calais Campbell is one side while Darnell Dockett patrols the other in the front of the Arizona defense. Dockett, 32, and Campbell, 27, are each set to count more than $8 million against the salary cap during the 2014 season. They have some depth behind them with guys like Frostee Rucker but they could use more for the future.

Our top-10 list of defensive ends in the draft shows a lot of players with promise. The question is which one will be there when the Cardinals come up with the 20th pick?

Jadaveon Clowney and Kony Ealy will likely both be gone by then. Scott Crichton of Oregon State could be a guy to target closer to the middle of the draft. Crichton was a first-team all-Pac 12 in 2012 and a second teamer in 2013. Crichton forced a total of 10 fumbles over his three-year career at Oregon State so he can be disruptive in the backfield.

Add to that a 4.84-second 40-yard dash time, his size (6’2, 273 pounds) and the long arms defensive coaches love (32 3/4″) and he looks like a player Arizona could get to add nice depth behind the big two.
