Miami Dolphins plan to meet with Knowshon Moreno Friday

The Dolphins plan to meet with ex Bronco’s running back Knowshon Moreno on friday.

Moreno has spent all six years of his career on the Broncos. Until last year, he only played in one whole season, his rookie year.

Last year was his breakout campaign where he was able to play in all 16 games, rushing for 1,038 yards, averaging 4.3 yards a carry. Moreno is an average Pass blocker according to PFF but had a 7.0 grade in the passing game and a 4.2 in the rushing game.

Moreno would be a great back to completement Lamar Miller, but more than anything it means the end of the Daniel Thomas saga in Miami. Moreno is more than capable of getting that 3rd and 1 that Thomas seemed to struggle with.

Signing Moreno (at the right price) would be a great move for the Dolphins. It gives Lamar Miller someone to learn from, while still getting his fair share of carries.
