Top 5: Ranking free agent moves for the Indianapolis Colts so far in 2014

The Indianapolis Colts have made some major moves in the last few weeks. They have re-signed veteran corner Vontae Davis, and added a few key players on each side of the ball in Hakkeem Nicks and D’Qwell Jackson.

So we have decided to rank so far the most important signings of the 2014 offseason.

5. D’Qwell Jackson

Jackson was brought in to bolster the weak linebacking core from a season ago. He has been a solid player throughout his career in Cleveland, and will become a veteran leader on the defense immediately.

At 30 Jackson will make $11 million guaranteed and has over 100 tackles in 5 of his 7 years in the league. Might be a little overpaid here but the Colts needed a linebacker and Jackson was a great addition to the team.
