Apparently, we know about more than the Arizona Cardinals

In case you’ve been living under a rock for the last two weeks, the NCAA Men’s Basketball tournament is in full swing. We’ve seen epic upsets (Ohio State), amazing finishes (Texas-Arizona State) and a  #1 seed (Wichita State) fall by the wayside.

March also means brackets and we are in the midst of the first ever Cover32 Bracket Challenge. All four of us who write about the Cardinals are in the challenge so let’s see how each of us is doing.

Brandon Shipley and Caleb Barron are tied for 23rd with 390 points after the first two rounds. Caleb was a little better in the first round while Brandon made up the difference in the second round.

Brandon’s Final Four: Florida, Wisconsin, Louisville, Michigan State with Florida taking it over Louisville.

Caleb’s Final Four: Kansas, Arizona, Michigan State, Wichita State with Michigan State over Arizona in the final.

As for me, I’m doing well in fourth place through the first weekend with 450 points. I’m part of a nine-way tie for the spot but have the most possible points still available.

Andrew’s Final Four: Florida, Arizona, Michigan State, Michigan with the Florida Gators over the Michigan Wolverines for the title.

That leaves Ryan Bawek as the only member of the team who is unaccounted for so far. Ryan has been doing quite well for himself in the first two rounds with a total of 530 points. Ryan Bawek leads the whole challenge by 60 points after the first weekend.

Ryan’s Final Four: Kansas, Arizona, Michigan State, Louisville with Michigan State edging Arizona for the win.

There’s still a long way to go but it’s nice to see the NFC West (and its writers) continue to dominate.
