If you missed the DeSean Jackson situation, well, there’s a lot to get caught up on.
DeSean Jackson was released from the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday for multiple reasons – among them were his salary, his attitude, his relationship with Coach Chip Kelly and the article released on NJ.com that alleges ties to friends that may be involved in gang activity.
Naturally, that raised the question: Is a reunion with his former coach, and the man that originally drafted him on the Eagles, in order? After a couple days of speculation, and reports confirming that the Chiefs did, indeed, contact DeSean Jackson’s representatives, it appears that the Chiefs will NOT be signing the talented wide receiver.
#Chiefs were among those who did research on DeSean Jackson, as did plenty of others. Source says they are now OUT. He’ll visit Skins Monday

Another interesting twist came last night when Philadelphia media personality, Howard Eskin, reported that the Chiefs were never interested in the first place.

There are bound to be more twists and turns in this already confusing story, but as of right now, it appears that the Washington Redskins are the favorite to land Jackson, as he’s reportedly visiting the team on Monday.
